If you are a registered adult and you have not taken the new 90-minute Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT) course that replaces Youth Protection Training (YPT), you need to take by May 31, 2026.  If you have already taken the new Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT) course, it is good for 1 year from the date you completed it.  Before the one-year expiration you can take the new 20-minute Safeguarding Youth (SYT) Refresher course.  Please Note: If your SYT is expired for 7 days or more, you must take the full 90-minute course again.  If you do not pass the refresher course quiz with at least 80% on your first attempt, you will need to take the full 90-minute course again. Registration for Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Scout Reservation (MSR) 2026 is quickly approaching.

This year we will, once again, be at MSR during Week 3, which is from Sunday, July 5 to Saturday, July 11.

The Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic Committee on Scouting is excited to announce this year's St. George Dinner on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 5pm.      The dinner will be held at the European Chalet located at 5445 S Harlem Ave Chicago, IL 60638. The event will include a family-style, Polish -American dinner, silent auction and a cash bar.
